Bee Necklace

The Manchester Bee necklace. A necklace designed in homage to my city, Manchester.

Manchester was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution. The Mancunian factories were sometimes referred to as beehives, because the workers within them were so busy and productive. The Manchester worker bee, as a symbol for the city, became increasingly popular throughout the Industrial Revolution. In 1842, the bee was first officially incorporated into the Manchester coat of arms. Now you can see the bee all over the city! For Mancunians, the worker bee represents both hard work and working together.

Bursting with personality, The Bee Pendant is characterful and charming, from the detailed hair on the body to the cute little antennae and eyes making it life like. The detailing means you can choose which way around you would like your pendant to face.

Your 9ct solid gold pendant carries its own hallmark of accreditation from The Birmingham Assay Office.  These prestigious hallmarks provide assurance that your new treasured pieces are investments as well as something you hold dear.
